{"id":6246,"date":"2024-03-18T02:55:27","date_gmt":"2024-03-18T09:55:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/athis-technologies.com\/news\/?p=6246"},"modified":"2024-05-27T04:51:45","modified_gmt":"2024-05-27T11:51:45","slug":"une-start-up-de-vision-industrielle-leve-35-millions-de-dollars-pour-la-technologie-de-robotique-industrielle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/athis-technologies.com\/news\/innovation\/2024\/une-start-up-de-vision-industrielle-leve-35-millions-de-dollars-pour-la-technologie-de-robotique-industrielle\/","title":{"rendered":"Machine Vision Startup Raises $3.5M for Industrial Robotics Tech"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/caint.io\/\">Cambrian Robotics<\/a>, a machine vision startup, has raised $3.5 million in seed funding for its AI platform designed to help robotic arms \u201csurpass human capabilities\u201d for complex, vision-based tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The funding round was led by Cybernetix Ventures and KST Invest, with participation from Yamaha Motor Ventures and Digital Media Professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a&nbsp;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/posts\/cybernetix-ventures_cambrian-robotics-obtains-seed-funding-to-activity-7171880765041938432-4Mpd?utm_source=share&amp;utm_medium=member_desktop\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LinkedIn post,<\/a>&nbsp;Cybernetix said it hopes to \u201cfuel Cambrian&#8217;s mission to equip industrial robots with human-level capabilities and free humans to do more meaningful work.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cambrian\u2019s technology combines AI-enabled vision software and camera hardware, created as an add-on to robotic arms to improve their vision capabilities and help them complete more intricate tasks such as bin picking, pick and place, machine feeding, feature location and assembly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The system is designed to operate in any lighting condition and can identify and organize objects made of a range of different materials, including plastic and metal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/W_jpsn-W9Ro\" height=\"315px\" width=\"100%\"><\/iframe><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are incredibly excited about the possibilities that our recent fundraising opens up,\u201d said Miika Satori, Cambrian\u2019s CEO. \u201cOur primary goals are to enhance the scalability of the product and strengthen our sales and operations in our main target markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn addition, we are bringing new AI-vision-based skills to robot arms, further pushing boundaries in the field of robotics. We are equally thrilled to begin collaborating with our new investors, whose support is pivotal in driving these advancements forward.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cambrian currently has offices in the U.K., Germany and the U.S., serving clients including Toyota, Audi, Suzuki, Kao and Electrolux.
