This 100 MWAC (125 MWDC) project, conducted by Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV), is being constructed by the Australian EPC, Downer EDI.<\/p>\n<p>The energy generated by this solar plant, which is still at the construction stage, is to be injected into the distribution network operated by the Origin Energy electricity company.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1339\" src=\"https:\/\/athis-consulting.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/ingeteam_logo.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"191\" height=\"41\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Ingeteam 1,500 Vdc technology was selected for this project, involving the supply of the company&#8217;s INGECON\u00ae SUN PowerMax centralinverters, capable of producing a power output of up to 1,800 kW with a single 1,500 Vdc inverter, although the inverter model chosen for this project provides 1,600 kW. The solution, in the form of a <em>power station<\/em>, comprises three of these inverters housed in a 40 foot container, in addition to a power transformer, low voltage switchgear, medium voltage switchgear and auxiliary services panel.
